Future of Marine Ecosystems is an innovative lab partnered with Dalhousie University that conducts scientific research and educational outreach about the health of the oceans and our impacts on them. Their previous identity didn’t align with their goal of becoming a more public-facing organization. The strategy behind their new logo was to represent the scope of their work which encompasses everything from the oceans’ smallest organisms, to it’s largest, with coral as a metaphor for marine ecosystems as a whole.
